About
Hi, I'm Paul. Firstly, thanks for visiting the website. A bit about me... I live in North Bicester, Oxfordshire with my family and our two spaniels, Bella - a seven year old working Springer, and Freddie, our five year old working cocker.
I always had dogs while I was growing up and enjoyed training them, but in 2018 while preparing for Bella, I developed a serious interest in dog training. A further, really quite motivating factor to be a good dog trainer was my wife, Joanne. She made it very clear that neither she nor the children were going to be yanked around on the end of a lead or yelling Bella's name as she legged off chasing birds or squirrels every two minutes in the park. Back to the story... I wanted to make sure Bella had a rich, full, happy life and a huge part of achieving that goal was to make sure she had professional training. I also wanted to give Bella the opportunity to work and that meant a different type of training was needed. Her 'obedient family dog' training began on the very first day she came home and that has continued every day since. It's simply a part of her life. Bella was living her best life within weeks and out working in year two. Freddie has mirrored that training, but he did require a change in training technique and methods. Did someone say hotdogs?
All dogs share common behavioural drivers, but they do have their own unique personalities and learning styles. Good trainers can see this and can adapt their methods and use their experience and knowledge to train for the best chance of success for your dog. I use operant and classical training models and methods, and shaping techniques (dogs and owners alike love this), and I welcome working with reactive dogs.
As owners, we all want the same thing - results and progress. If you decide that we work together, you can know that you have my full commitment to deliver the latest, effective proven training methods for your dog to get that progress and those results. There's one other thing too, you. You are part of this journey. Knowing how to reinforce and practice the training we deliver and be calm, confident and relaxed with your dog, you are set for success. By happy coincidence, I have many years' experience in coaching NHS medical and nursing staff and also in the healthcare industry, but that's a story for another time.

Whatever your dream is for your dog, from enjoying a loose-lead stroll in the park on a lovely day or having a calm stress-free dog wherever you are to all the spins and tricks, I look forward to working with you to give you a happy well-trained dog to be proud of!
